SUMMARY

The Senior Manager manages multiple large initiatives or programs involving cross-functional teams that include business partners, functional partners, and technology partners. Pre-owned trade-in and refurbished product are core components of GameStop's business. This role will help to build capabilities to improve the trade-in and refurbished product customer experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Ensure alignment of program/project with business and financial objectives
  • Partner with cross-functional project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Plan, schedule and track program milestones and deliverables.
  • Conceptualize and drive initiatives to improve the customer experience.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project teams, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and develop contingency plans.
  • Develop best practices for project execution and management.
  • Oversee 3rd Party vendors within projects to ensure successful completion of work
  • Experience in ecommerce and/or brick-and-mortar retail operations is a strong plus

  • BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelors with 5-7 years of related experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience
  • At least three years of relevant experience as a program manager; experience in a fast-paced, consumer oriented, e-commerce retail environment preferred
