An emerging leader in biotechnology technology utilizing artificial intelligence is looking for a Revenue Accountant at their King of Prussia location. This is an exciting role to work in a company with a great work culture and with a tons of growth opportunities. This position will be responsible for assisting in the timely invoicing, analysis, and maintenance of contract financials metrics, and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities for the Revenue Accountant:

• Execute monthly global revenue close, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with US GAAP including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations of global revenue, deferred revenue, sales allowance.
• Work closely with Finance and Operations teams on contract and product revenue recognition that is compliant with ASC 606 and book revenue
• Assist with month end and year-end close processes including reconciliation of accounts receivable, unbilled, and deferred revenue.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and tracking of all active contracts, including revenue and billing schedules, actual hours vs. budgeted
• Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility.
• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.

Requirements:

• 4+ years' professional experience in revenue accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition guidance (ASC 605 & ASC 606)
• Advanced Excel knowledge (Pivots, Vlookups)
• Previous systems experience working in a large ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, detailed-oriented
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
