AstraZeneca has an opening for a Senior Scientist in the Cell Therapy group to support pre-clinical research of innovative therapeutic products. The main duties for the ideal candidate are to help build a CAR-T platform to support AstraZeneca's regenerative cell therapy pipeline projects.

Summary of the Group
The Cell Therapeutics Technology group within the Antibody Discovery and Protein Engineering Department develops gene and cell therapy technologies and supports pre-clinical research of innovative therapeutic products. You will work as member of the expanding Dynamic Omics group and be actively involved in developing and implementing pipelines for metabolomics and proteomics applications to support the analysis of preclinical and clinical samples for Cell Therapy.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Given the scope of this dynamic role and the need to multitask, it is essential to be a fast learner, excellent communicator, well-organized, innovative and able to work independently when designing and executing experiments as well as to manage and prioritize tasks. Furthermore, you should demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation, attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies, flexibility and confidence. The job is highly complex, requiring a deep understanding of protein and peptide mass spectrometry, antibody structure, protein biochemistry, and data analyses.
