MarketSharp, a part of EverCommerce, is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our growing team! In this role you will be a leading team member in the redesign of one of our flagship products. We need you to bring your cloud and web expertise to help drive the solutioning of this new product, making your mark and having deep influence on the future growth of our business!

We work in agile teams in a flat, highly collaborative and supportive environment, with access to whatever hardware and tools you need to be productive. We're a lean shop and as such there isn't much red tape - everyone has a voice and seat at the table.

You're passionate about technology, creating great products, and working in teams. You have strong aptitude for full stack web development and enjoy keeping up with the latest technologies, patterns, and practices. You thrive in a creative, fast-paced, true agile environment; and are looking to grow as a technical leader and engineer.

Responsibilities

As a member of our product development group you will be involved in every aspect of the lifecycle including stakeholder engagement, solution discovery and design, planning, cloud architecture, coding, testing, and the full DevOps pipeline.

• Lead the effort to modernize our existing platform, leveraging the latest in cloud (Azure/AWS) and web (React/.NET).
  
• Consult on major initiatives impacting the web applications across the 3 brands
  
• Maintain and improve the development/deployment tooling (Azure DevOps)
  
• Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to spec out product feature requirements
  
• Partner closely with all team functions such as mobile, UX, and operations
  
• Take ownership of application performance and user experience monitoring
  
• Advocate for professional-level solutions, code quality, and modern engineering practices

We are 3 brands in one: improveit 360, MarketSharp, and RoofSnap. As EverCommerce subsidiaries, we are a fast-growing cloud software SaaS product company with 1000s of customers nationwide. It is our mission to be the ubiquitous SaaS solution provider for home improvement pros. For this role you will be joining our growing MarketSharp team initially, as a key leading member of the team responsible for the next enhanced version of the product, with opportunities to expand your role into the other product lines!

You will be joining the Product Development organization - a group of cross-functional software engineers, analysts, and product managers all working together in a flat, Scrum-based organization.

Where

We are currently 100% work-from-home due to the pandemic and will be looking towards a hybrid office/WFH model later in 2021.We have offices in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and Columbus, Ohio. That said - for this role we are also open to full remote work in the long term!

Desired Experience

This is not a checklist - we realize that in today's job market we are unlikely to find any one candidate that meets specific criteria. • 3+ years as a hands-on software engineer building customer-facing applications
  
• Experience in a tech and/or team lead role
  
• Expertise in modern cloud-based architecture
  
• Expertise in one or more front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue
  
• Expertise managing the full DevOps lifecycle in a cloud-based SaaS environment
  
• Experience as a developer on a Scrum team with demonstrated desire for continuous improvement
  
• Knowledge of home improvement industry and/or other SaaS environments
