Job Summary

The Systems Developer performs senior level SQL development work. In this role, you will support SQL database solutions, including all aspects of system development from planning and analysis to development, deployment and maintenance of self-developed and vendor-provided software applications and solutions. This position is a key point of contact in supporting SQL data and processes for IAM HR integration and all of the downstream feeds.

The System Developer performs software installations, updates and configurations as needed; prepares detailed specifications from which applications will be developed; creates or modifies systems, solutions and procedures to solve problems; develops and/or maintains advanced knowledge of computing systems and makes recommendations or decisions on software configurations and developments; provides analysis and recommended design of applications, middleware and system architecture to solve complex problems; analyzes vendor and open source software to develop, program, test, debug, document, install and maintain software systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant SQL development experience is required including a strong understanding and experience with database design and structure, SQL reporting, data analysis and cleansing, data feeds, analyzing and defining processes, Microsoft T-SQL, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Experience with SQL along with IAM and understanding of HR workflows is a plus.
• Curiosity and interest in learning ServiceNow development.
• Experience establishing a collaborative working relationship with business owners and SMEs.
• Strong communication skills and analytical skills.
