Watermark Risk Management International has an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Staff for Budget Support to join our team.

Position Description:

Currently, seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior Staff for Budget Support to join our team in the Arlington, VA and to begin an exciting and rewarding career.

In this role you will....

  • Budget Execution Activity Support
  • Monitor and report on obligations incurred and resulting expenditures Identify, develop, and implement reprogramming actions
  • Administer and approve requests for distribution of funds to field organizations
  • Process incoming reimbursable documents, vouchers, and billings
  • Control and document upward adjustments and "cancelled to current" transactions
  • Budget Formulation Activity Support Analyze and estimates of annual funding needs
  • Analyze justification for funds to program needs
  • Review, track and assess long term effects of new or revised legislation
  • Oversee, update, track, and reconcile financial and budget execution information
  • Obtain, compile, and summarize information for use by others
  • Extract budget and program data from accounting records, forms and reports
  • Perform, advise on, or oversee work in any of the phases of budget administration
  • Prepare sub-allotments of funds for distribution to program managers
  • Check the propriety of obligations and expenditures
  • Provide guidance on legal and regulatory aspects of acquisition or use of funds
  • PPBE Process Staff Support Meeting Support and Conferences POM, PBR, and PB Support
Experience Requirements:
  • 5 years Air Force Budget
Education Requirements:
  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Top Secret/ SCI, JAFAN eligible
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to interpret executive orders, OMB guidelines and directives, policies, and precedents
  • Required knowledge and skill in budget related laws, regulations, methods, etc.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners
  • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic AOR
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office {Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
