ECS is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to work in our Washington D.C. office.

Job Description:
ECS is currently looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer to join our highly skilled, fast paced team on our client site in Washington, DC.

• Ability to implement and maintain the computer system for DoJ to be in line with the organization's guidelines or SOP (Standards Operating Procedure).
• Monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure
• Establish, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• The Setting, installing testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Evaluate the existing systems and provide the technical direction to IT support staff.
• Oversee the development of customized software and hardware requirement.
• Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency.
• Formulate and design the security system in place to maintain data safety.
• Oversee the constant availability of technical resources.
• Maintain and supervise the inventory.
• Timely reporting on the log sheet for the rapid response to any glitches

Required Skills:

• Must be a US citizen
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or equivalent
• Applicant must possess and be able to maintain a minimum of DoD Top Secret clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access which requires an FBI counterintelligence scope polygraph.
• Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of technical experience and working knowledge of the following: Netwrix Auditor
• Knowledge of PKIs and related technologies (LDAP directories, HSMs, OCSP) and security practices
• Knowledge of and experience with large federal IT infrastructure
• Basic experience with Java Programming
• Ability and willingness to work in the downtown Washington DC area

Desired Skills:

• Card Personalization industry experience
• Capable of learning new technologies and products quickly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
