Oversees the daily management, scheduling and triaging of incoming customer support requests; provides senior level technical expertise as required to facilitate demand; serves as a Team Leader at the IT Service Desk providing senior technical oversight as well as coordination of efforts within the team; works in concert with other departments throughout Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center; leads various projects as a Service Desk subject matter expert.
Starting salary for this position is $71,496 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time Desktop/Systems support experience; or
2. Associate's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time Desktop/Systems support experience; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of seven (7) years of full-time Desktop/Systems support experience.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 4 years server and networking experience working in a hospital setting performing maintenance on networked biomed equipment to TJC requirements, will be experienced in documenting fully integrated medical system configurations end-to-end, and will also have experience with Microsoft Teams, knowledge and understanding of integrated patient monitoring and networked medical systems. In addition they will also have working knowledge of IT systems to include equipment adds, moves, upgrades and changes, experience with AP's, servers, operating systems, network cable management, racks, networking and switch management and will be familiar with IEC ISO 80001 - Application of risk management for IT- networks incorporating medical devices.
