Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is looking to fill a Sensitive Support Activities SME position in support of the OUSD I&S HUMINT and Sensitive Activities Division and will function as a Counter-Adversary Defense Industry (C-ADI) Action Officer. C-ADI is a relatively new focused initiative, within the OUSD(I&S) Sensitive Activities/Sensitive Support portfolio to identify, assess, and implement novel and innovative approaches to understand and counter adversary defense industries and development of DoD guidance and oversight for the coordination, synchronization, and deconfliction of the Department efforts related to adversary defense industries to advance strategic objectives and priorities aligned to the NDS.

Through collaboration with senior staff across the IC, OSD, Joint Staff, Military Services, Combatant Commands, Combat Support Agencies, and other non-Defense Federal Departments and Agencies, C-ADI will develop, manage, and mature broad communities of interest and Identify trends and opportunities for collaboration. C-ADI will also gather, update, and maintain qualitative and quantitative information for team use and prepare reports, briefings, senior level correspondence, and staff action packages on C-ADI related issues and narratives to support assessments and decision-making.

Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

• 5+ years of experience drafting correspondence presented for staffing through senior-level OSD decision-makers
• Experience producing, reviewing, and updating intelligence work products and policies
• Demonstrated ability to build coalitions internally and with other Federal agencies, State and local governments, nonprofit and private sector organizations, foreign governments, or international organizations to achieve common goals
• Experienced in briefing senior leadership
• Demonstrated understanding of Hard Target analysis, collection
• Knowledge of establishing an organizational vision and implementing it in a continuously changing environment
• Ability to facilitate cooperation, teamwork, and constructive resolution of conflicts.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense (DoD) active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
