Summary: The Service Team position is a full time position. The position supports the service department in response to customer calls for service and project work. This is a non-exempt position and reports to the Service Team Supervisor.

Position: Service Team Full-Time Position.
Responsibilities may include assisting and or performing:
Schedule and dispatch workers to appropriate locations, according to policy and customer requests, using online software, email and phones.
Record and maintain information on customer requests, work or services performed, invoice charges, maintenance agreements, customer financing, or other dispatch information.
Determine types or amounts of equipment, materials, or personnel required, according to work orders or specifications. Coordinate with Purchasing manager for needed supplies to ensure technicians are prepared before each days' work orders on the schedule.
Resolve customer complaints or answer customers' questions.
Analyzing information and evaluate the results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Professional and friendly communication with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, and other external sources.
Daily work order preparation and review for correctness (closing of work orders to produce billing and payroll hours) including confirmation of payroll times for technicians.
Keep customers and technicians aware of status of orders and scheduling changes.
Customer service representative duties to include handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, follow up calls, promotion of Planned Maintenance Agreements
Filing and other clerical duties for the service and retrofit departments.
Assist the Service Team and Service Vice President with projects as needed.

Requirements:
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
Previous service related dispatch experience
Ability to multitask while remaining detail oriented
Exceptional customer service and great phone personality
Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
The aptitude to connect with and gain respect of field personnel to obtain direct answers in difficult situations
Must have Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office Excel, and Word
Comfortable with learning new software programs
Positive "Can-Do" Attitude.
Must be eligible for OT during busy seasons
Preference to Candidate who also meets these qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 2+ years hands on customer service experience
• Knowledge of HVAC parts, components, and accessories
• Previous experience as a technician or as technical support in HVAC industry
• Sales experience in the HVAC industry
• Proficient on MS Office Suite
• Attention to Detail
