Job Accountabilities:
- Receives, identifies, boxes, and stores parts, engines, alternators, and transfer switches in an orderly manner.
- Retrieves parts as directed by sales order or shipping lists. Prepares parts and completed units for shipment to include building shipping containers. Dispatches by freight method as directed.
- Reconciles "returned goods" paper work.
- Sets up new storage locations and helps to maintain cleanliness and order in these locations.
- Operates equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, etc.
- Pulls engines and generators for transportation to other facilities.
- Checks in parts, matches with P.O.'s verifying quantities and products are correct.
- Receives, pulls, and packages inventory for work orders and completed units.
- Properly labels, rotates, and stocks inventory when it is received.
- At times, serves as liaison between production and parts, pulling what is needed for assembly.
