A DAY IN THE LIFE

This role supports the Montrose's Stack Testing Services (Stack) division. As a key member of the stack team, this role will be responsible for a full range of duties including:

  • Be engaged in the safety culture
  • Work accurately, safely and efficiently
  • May be asked to support in the role of a Field Technician on occasion
  • Participate in a comprehensive Job Safety Analysis at the jobsite
  • Maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Supporting role for maintenance, calibration, cleaning, inventory and repair of all MAQS equipment and assets used for testing
  • Support Field and Client Project Managers as needed with equipment prep and job load outs
  • Supporting role with responsibility for shop organization and cleanliness
  • Supporting role with responsibility for Hazardous Materials storage in the shop per State and Federal requirements
  • Supporting role with responsibility for office and shop compliance per local and state Fire Marshall ordinances
  • Supporting role with responsibility for office and shop security and alarms (if this service is being used).
  • Supporting role with responsibility for managing vehicle service, repairs, tags and licenses at the local office level
  • Participate in training for career development, safety and maintaining required certifications
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Three plus (3+) years of industry experience preferred
  • Field testing experience is beneficial
  • Working knowledge of tools used for instrument repair (multimeter, etc.)
  • Analyzer OEM Training is beneficial
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) is beneficial
