We are seeking a Software Engineer II - Manufacturing Solutions to join our team. This individual will design/test and implement vital solutions to global factory data infrastructure, automation and reporting enabling optimal manufacturing performance. As a key contributor to Nuvera's automation and infrastructure team, this role provides software scripting and solutions to maintain our data integrity and enable manufacturing continuous improvement based in real time data, analytics and automation. Optimize and maintain associated business systems to maximize effective use of manufacturing data.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Create product design documentation, engineering lists, reports, test plans and software coding - to support release of automated solutions, maintain data integrity and support process improvement projects
• Support/execute development testing and validation to ensure design robustness to requirements
• Support global manufacturing infrastructure and data platform solutions
• Provide scripting support and solutions to continuous improvement projects as assigned engaging in cross functional team solutions
• Interface with component suppliers and internal customers (Production, Development, QA, Service, etc.) to understand detailed solution requirements
• Provide design, implementation, verification/validation and maintenance documentation as required by Nuvera quality system
• Interface, guide and lead support from 3rd party suppliers of data solutions and process as required ensuring Nuvera requirements are clear and ongoing support is properly understood and executed
• Support production capacity growth at Nuvera through scale up and expansion of Manufacturing capabilities, technology deployment, process controls and data analytics optimization

Required Job Qualifications (unless otherwise noted):

Educational Background

• BS degree in Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required

Previous Work Experience

• 2+ years of prior experience supporting data warehouse concepts, data modeling, reporting and automated processing
• Previous experience supporting manufacturing operations preferred

Special Skills, Experience and Abilities

• Demonstrated successes in leading projects to drive data base management improvements, automated decisions and / or reduced processing time
• Working knowledge of one or more programming languages: Python, SQL, VBScript, ASP.net, Perl and LabVIEW
• Allen Bradley PLC controls familiarity desired but not required
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with software release methodologies, developing requirements, solutions, validation methods and reporting to support high quality release results
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities
• Ability to work and communicate effectively using standard MS office tools, online communications, team meetings etc.

Physical requirements/Work environment

• 20% Shop-floor and laboratory work environment, 80% office environment

Travel Required

• Up to 10-20% possible, including domestic and international sites
