Job Summary

We are looking for highly skilled, adaptable Node.js Engineer to join our team at Allvue. Come work with an agile team as we spread solid architectural design across our suite of products.

A successful Node/TypeScript Engineer at Allvue will be able to work across a range of applications - existing and new - from Node/TypeScript-based APIs to ETL applications running on Node. You contribute across all phases of the product lifecycle that culminates in on-time delivery of high-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Build new products that will be the core of a new data platform that will serve the entire organization and all our clients.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle from planning to deployment and maintenance of our applications.
• Understand the current architecture, and adapt it as necessary
• Understand the business to the point you can abstract an explicit requirement into an extensible solution
• Champion new ideas and technology to the team
• Find new ways to make us more efficient

Requirements

• Enterprise-level Node.js and TypeScript experience
• Proficient understanding of Node.js and TypeScript
• Proficient understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, and/or Kafka would also be ideal.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Well-rounded personality
• Enthusiasm for technology and finance
• Demonstrated ability to be self-driven and work with minimal supervision

Education/Certifications

A CS degree (or similar engineering) from a leading 4-year university.
