JOB SUMMARY

To work on big data problems and build sophisticated automated systems leveraging insightful information to enhance customer experience around legal analytics.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
• Complete simple bug fixes.
• Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Operate in various development environments (Agile, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues as necessary.
• Keep abreast of new technology developments.
  

REQUIRED SKILLS :

• Minimum of 1 year of Software Engineering experience in either Java OR Python OR C#.NET.
• Experience engineering for the Azure or AWS Cloud
• BS Engineering/Computer Science OR equivalent experience required.
  

DESIRED SKILLS :

• Ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
• Proficiency with data manipulation languages.
• Ability to work with simple data models.
• Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows and UNIX.
• Familiarity of industry best practices - code coverage.
• Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, etc.).
• Knowledge of data storage subsystems.
• Knowledge of test-driven development.
• Basic oral and written communications skills.
