Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• The Solution Architect owns the architectural decisions for the Agile team. This role works across Agile teams to implement a standardized architectural framework that facilitates future architectural changes and designs. Ensures that solutions are well-architected with respect to quality, performance, extensibility, and maintainability.

• This person will drive the Agile Teams' DevOps practices in test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment. Strong architect applicant is keen to get down to business, and actively helps the team to solve the biggest problems.

• Solutions architect is an executor as well as the force behind the technical solution.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of application development experience with large scale business applications in agile or fast-paced development environment

• 5+ years designing, developing, and implementing business applications from business concept through to production

• 5+ years' experience leading business application development teams of 10+ team members

Technology:

Skills/Knowledge:

• Has a strong understanding of the target product technology stack through personal experience as a Principal Software Engineer or Application Architect

• Has an excellent track record as a Software Engineer

• Has deep insight into the newest technologies and trends that relate to journey / product in scope

• Experience in Agile Development and understands relationship with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and rest of technical team

• Expert level ability in soliciting and understanding complex business requirements

• Ability to break large business problems into logical smaller pieces

• Able to present and communicate complex technology concepts and issues to non- technological authorities

• Strong understanding of past, current, and future technology trends

• Ability to understand, implement, recommend, and teach best practices and patterns of application development

• Ability to mentor and professionally develop other developers

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and customer facing skills!

Education:

Bachelor's degree, or similar experience, preferably in IT-related subject area.
