The Automotive industry provided jobs to highly educated scientists, engineers, managers, and other professional workers, as well as skilled production workers and unskilled laborers. Every year, an automobile manufacturer has a new line of vehicles. To create those vehicles every year, there is planning that must take place and that can be years prior to the release of a new line of vehicles.

In addition to the creation of vehicles, there is also the maintenance, repair, and detailing of vehicles. Many jobs are available within this sector of the automotive industry as well.
