Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag government company, is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Developer. This is a direct, full-time position with our company, working at our customer's site in Washington, DC. This position is Remote, with potential for Hybrid in the future.

Position Overview:
The Senior BI Developer will support data warehouse development and operations, data analytics and visualizations development, and produce quality reports and dashboards. The developer will be responsible for analyzing data sources and reporting needs, designing reporting structures (data models), and developing BusinessObjects Universes and reports. They will be the technical SME for troubleshooting, upgrading, and maintaining the SAP Business Objects BI Platform and related applications (Tomcat, .NET/js custom-portal, scripts). The ideal candidate will be able to support the following functions:

• Perform SAP BusinessObjects platform upgrades, validations, webapp deployment, and migrations
• Work independently to troubleshoot report SQL and ETL processes and propose and implement fixes
• Design, develop and implement reports
• Suggest and implement performance improvements for reports
• Provide application testing support
• Develop data models for fact and dimension tables

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Experience working with HR application (PeopleSoft) data for reporting purposes
• Experience using Informatica to implement ETL and dimensional modelling solutions
• Experience in installation, configuration, and management of SAP BusinessObjects and Informatica in an enterprise environment
• Experience with a wide range of data products, BI tools, and visualization libraries such as Tableau, PowerBI, Jupyter Notebooks, d3js
• Experience using SAP BusinessObjects SDKs to design, develop and implement custom applications and scripts/utilities
• Experience in customizing BusinessObjects web applications and deploying warfiles to Tomcat
• Experience in Azure DevOps scripted deployments
• 1+ year(s) .NET or similar OOP experience
• 1+ year(s) in modern web application development (nodeJS)
• Experience writing Oracle PL/SQL queries, packages, and procedures
• Experience using git version control system
• Experience architecting Data Vault 2.0 solutions

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Active SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance
• 5+ years of SAP BusinessObjects platform support and universe development experience; or a comparable combination of the preferred skills below
• Knowledge of OOP concepts and proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell)
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and proficiency in dimensional modelling (Kimball) and source to target solutions.

Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
