Job Summary
. This role will perform diversified functions that require decision making and problem solving with minimal direction. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the responsibility of the identification, research, design and development of efficient processes and systems utilization, concentrating on development of control (ie KPI, KRI) reporting within Tableau to support Core Servicing. This position will showcase best practices of Tableau Development and assist with End User Training to enhance business decision making capabilities. The Analyst will partner with the department team leaders and Business Controls Manager to determine what areas within Core Servicing need specific focus. There will be a need to work directly with other lines of business including, Corporate Reporting, Data Management, Default Servicing, Originations as well as other areas within the Core Servicing department.

Job Responsibilities:

This role will be partnering with the department leaders to focus on process improvements, implementing controls, and exception reporting to create a data driven environment.

Business Requirements

• Support Core Servicing with Reporting/Process Improvement Requests
• Define detailed requirements and organize within IT Ticketing System
• Determine best solution and route to appropriate team if necessary

Oracle SQL Development

• Developing data source requirements to support solutions
• Partner with shared services to process database enhancements

Tableau End User Training

• Provide Tableau end user training to promote self-service solutions

User Acceptance Testing

• Meet with end users to verify solution requirements are met and meet quality standards
• Obtain end user sign off before processing changes to production solutions
• Assist team with peer review of production changes

Tableau Development

• Use Tableau Desktop to develop interactive dashboards for end user use on Tableau Server such as creation of key performance indicators and exception reporting

Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration or Computer Science) Preferred or 3 years of comparable experience.
• Required: 3-5 years related experience, preferably with Mortgage servicing knowledge and/or Business Analyst background.
• Requires: 1-2 years of Tableau Development (Tableau Desktop) Experience
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications including: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and OneNote
• Proven understanding of relational databases and SQL Development
• Strong Analytical and problem solving ability
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group: executives, managers, vendors and regulators
• Ability to meet deadlines and fosters a high attention to detail
• Demonstrated customer service oriented focus
• Ability to work quickly and multi-task through various work items
• Excellent ability to understand business needs based on skills and experience
• Minimal Travel Requirements
