General Purpose of the Job

Software development plays an integral role at Everside Health to integrate business process with IT systems to deliver best in class healthcare services to our patient population. We are using cutting-edge technology, data, and a highly engaging user experience to revolutionize direct primary care for our patients. We are looking for a QA engineer for our data warehouse and business intelligence stack to drive quality improvement.

The candidate should have strong software development skills and apply them in building, maintaining data warehouse and other data processes. This position will be reporting to the Manager of Data Engineering. This position will collaborate closely with other teammates: business analyst, developers, quality engineers and end users to deliver high quality product.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Experience modeling and developing data models for Data warehouse or related data processes for healthcare Medical and/or pharmacy (Rx) claims.
  • In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modeling structure principles.
  • Design ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines to bring data from various sources into a central data repository
  • Writing SQL queries against Snowflake; Developing scripts Unix, Python, etc. to do Extract, Load, and Transform data.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
  • Good working experience of any ETL tool such as Informatica or SSIS.
  • Ability to effectively function in a cross-team's environment.
  • Good to have hands-on experience with AWS cloud functionalities such as S3, SQS, SNS, and AWS lambda.

  • Other duties and responsibilities (10%)
    • Assists with other technical projects and tasks (e.g. production support, bug fixes, ad hoc requests) as needed by the department.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
  • Required 7 or more years software development exp
  • Required 5 or more years of experience working with SQL technologies such as T-SQL, PL/SQL; At least 1 year of Snowflake and Snow-SQL experience will be an added advantage.
  • Required 3 or more years of experience working with ETL technologies such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend; Matillion experience will be an added advantage.
  • Required 2 or more years of experience working in agile methodology of software development
  • Experience working in any one of the source control technologies such as Azure DevOps, Git, bitbucket, etc. is a must

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000
