Sr. Financial Systems Analyst (SAP)
Store Support Center
We are searching for an experienced Sr. Financial Systems Analyst (SAP) for our Store Support Center, located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA 90040.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The SeniorFinancial Systems Analyst works closely with the Director, FinancialSystems & SOX Compliance to support accounting and financial informationsystems as well as identify, design, and implement system enhancements andprocess improvements to optimize the Company's Accounting and Financeoperations.
The position hasfull responsibility for the design, maintenance, and support of TM1database/cubes used for all internal and external financial reporting as wellas budgeting and forecasting. In addition, this position has a leadership rolein the ongoing support of SAP and other supporting systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includethe following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the research, analysis, design, and maintenance of all cubes including the General Ledger cube used for all financial reporting.
- Design and build technical solutions that involve TM1 cubes, dimensions, TI processes, rules and architecture based on business requirements.
- Responsible for analysis, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of financial reporting
- Work with outside vendors, IT and key accounting team members in planning and executing necessary enhancements and upgrades.
- Lead initiative to identify and develop automated processes to optimize reporting efficiencies and best utilization of TM1.
- Provide training to users and IT as needed.
- Train IT or others as needed for back-up admin support.
- Evaluate the compatibility of systems that impact TM1 and work with vendor and/or IT to resolve any issues.
- Responsible for designing and maintaining all budget templates to be used by business teams on an annual basis for loading into system.
- Work with Financial Planning & Analysis Team on any configuration changes as needed and testing.
- Oversight responsibility on all master data setup in SAP GL to maintain cohesiveness and conformity as well as any changes to SAP allocation processes
- Analyze and support General Ledger team for all reporting issues between TM1 and SAP
- Responsible for all requests for external feeds from GL (either SAP or TM1).
- Work with SAP support team to develop and test any automated feeds from SAP.
- Support all SAP enhancements, process improvements, upgrades, and ongoing support by assisting in testing, training, script creation/updates, creation/maintenance of macro templates, interface spec development, interface corrections in collaboration with IT, SAP support team and business teams.
- Project lead in the implementation of other financial systems/processes, working with IT, SAP support team, outside consultants and business teams as needed.
- Provide data to external auditors for SOX/substantive audit testing
- Work on other special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-yearcollege or university or the equivalent combination of education/experience anda minimum of 5 years of experience in computerized data management andexperience leading projects. Previousexposure to relational databases and ERP systems is required.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Relational database experience in a client/server environment and Oracle/SQL.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Financial Reporting knowledge preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Programs:Excel, Power Point, Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Previous experience with SAP and TM1 preferred
