Job Description

This is a Hybrid position within our IT Organization. The role will allow employees to work offsite but will also require onsite work based on business needs. The selected candidate will be expected to commute to the innovation center to which they are assigned as their primary GM facility. Relocation may be provided.

About the role:

Sr. Project Managers are responsible for the delivery of the output/product of select programs, which will involve managing a portfolio of projects. Coordinate the teams who are working on the various projects. Runs medium to large scale IT projects from beginning to end. Ability to influence and lead team members and others who are not direct reports, along with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment with changing priorities and schedules. This person will be supporting the Customer Care Aftersales and Warranty group.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to manage three projects simultaneously for one or more functional areas
  • Must know the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Responsible for ensuring that all business deliverables are identified and accounted for in the project plan with responsibility and due dates
  • Continuously supervise and report on project status
  • Provide mentorship and support during execution of change management activities
  • Gain an understanding of program workstreams/projects to be able to assist in identification and management of issues and risks
  • Developing breakthrough reviews for the key achievements and ensures the team is on track to deliver
  • Developing tracking scorecards and metrics to illustrate status and ownership
  • Prepare presentations for various levels of leadership
  • Align cross-functional business and technical teams to help ensure alignment of goals and to help resolve conflicting priorities
  • Assist Workstream Leaders in balancing multiple efforts simultaneously across a broad range of functions, business and organizational units

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in IT project management managing medium to large-scale projects using waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies
  • Strong proficiency with MS Project and Office suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Experience in measuring project success factors with respect to cost, schedule and quality, i.e. product requirements quality, test quality and code quality
  • Strong skills in problem solving, predictive analysis, specifically on software development/deployment projects, resource/staffing management
  • Proven experience working with business teams, business analyst, development & QA teams, interlock, and vendor

Preferred:
  • Demonstrated and proven in-depth knowledge of project management subject areas. PMP, CSM (or similar certification).
  • Experience with HP Program and Project Management (PPM) software, preferred
  • Experience with TFS or AzureDevOps Server 2019, preferred
  • Supply Chain and Logistics, Warehousing, Order Management experience a plus.
