Sr. Manager or Director Pharmacy Market Solutions

The Leader of Pharmacy Market Solutions is accountable for market evaluation and development of new or enhanced pharmacy-related service offerings for Cambia. Senior Manager responsibilities may include execution of pharmacy strategic initiatives focused on future state evolution, commercial market ROI, definition of operational models, pricing models, marketing plans and/or maintenance of a portfolio of solutions (e.g. performance, value, results). Director responsibilities will include execution of pharmacy strategic initiatives focused on future state evolution, commercial market ROI, definition of operational models, pricing models, marketing plans and maintenance of a portfolio of solutions (e.g. performance, value, results).

Partners with leadership across the organization, including sales, marketing, underwriting, actuary, product, and Health Care Services to design offerings from inception to launch and incorporate offerings into applicable Cambia line of business roadmaps. Identifies and develops strategic partnerships and key vendor relationships associated with new offerings.


General Functions and Outcomes


Senior Manager:

  • May evaluates the pharmacy market for potential development of new programs, products, and services in order to accelerate speed to market and realize high value opportunities.
  • May defines associated business plans and roll-out strategies for identified opportunities, including but not limited to ROI/market-sizing, operational models, pricing models, and marketing plans.
  • Partners with leadership across the organization to incorporate offerings into applicable Cambia line of business roadmaps.
  • Identifies and develops strategic partnerships associated with new offerings.
  • Develops financial measures in partnership with finance business partners.
  • Ensures the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image.
  • Establish and maintain highly-effective relationships with Cambia leadership across the organization.
  • Ensures coordination of relevant external vendor relationships.
  • Manages staff activities including hiring, evaluation, corrective action and other items of personnel administration.

Director:

  • Oversees design, marketing, sales, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services.
  • Ensures the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image.
  • Establish and maintain highly-effective relationships with Cambia leadership across the organization.
  • Ensures coordination of relevant external vendor relationships.
  • Manages staff activities including hiring, evaluation, corrective action and other items of personnel administration.

Minimum Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare industry, specifically related to pharmacy products and marketplace
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and executing on strategic priorities.
  • Budget and fiscal management experience, especially with complex financial transactions.
  • Experience successfully managing large complex projects, including managing budgets, timelines and resources and working with internal/external stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Business development expertise, including experience in sales, marketing or external negotiations.
  • Innovative thinker and excellent collaborator with ability to work cross-functionally and to develop and oversee strategic partnerships and vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization, including facilitation skills and ability to effectively present in both formal and informal settings.

Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above:

The Senior Manager Pharmacy Initiatives would have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care or related field and 7+ years of progressive leadership experience, involving complex business or financial operations (preferably in healthcare industry), and 3 years of executive leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education and experiences.

The Director Pharmacy Initiatives would have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care or related field (Master's degree preferred) and 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, involving complex business or financial operations (preferably in healthcare industry), and five years of executive leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education and experiences.

The base pay annual salary range for this job is $147,500-$240,000.
