SENIOR POSTGRES DBA

One of The Select Groups top clients is looking for a Sr. Postgres DBA to join their team in a remote fashion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with providing Postgres database support and administration. They are currently implementing Postgres into their environment, so any implementation or migration experience would be a huge plus! If this sounds like you, please apply today!

SENIOR POSTGRES DBA REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ year experience working with PostgreSQL within database support and administration
• Experience deploying PostgreSQL databases into an environment
• Experience working with other relational databases such as Oracle and SQL
• Experience working with non-relational databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra

SENIOR POSTGRES DBA RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily eyes-on monitoring of production database performance issues using various monitoring tools.
• Some exposure to MongoDB, AWS Aurora.
• MySQL support as needed.
• Assisted systems engineers with cleaning up containerization implementation of all Postgres databases.
• Lead DBA for deploying Postgres
