Technology Platforms and Experience (TPX) is the team that powers PayPal's business. We deliver scalable, efficient and highly reliable infrastructure and services platform in a hybrid cloud environment to our developer community.
As a Senior Product Manager for the Testing ecosystem and Continuous Testing platforms, you will own a diverse portfolio of critical services in PayPal that enable our developers to test at scale and release high quality code to our Customers.

Thousands of PayPal developers build and run hundreds of applications processing billions of calls daily with high availability and reliability on our Platforms. We are driven to empower PayPal developers in the best way possible.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Driving portfolio and product strategy, creating platforms and capabilities that application teams can leverage to have a direct impact on the PayPal end user experience
  • Working cross-functionally (with global business lines, engineering, and design) and developing strong relationships that help build trust with key partner teams and our engineering customers.
  • Evangelizing product roadmap internally and externally in informal and formal settings
    Running lean experiments to inform future investment areas
  • Evolve the portfolio to utilize the latest/progressive, SaaS, mobile, analytics/AI technologies and tools in support of an established diverse and evolving product suite
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and innovation for our engineers through market research, experimentation continuous assessment of new technologies and roadmaps against strategic business needs in Continuous Testing
  • Thought leader and champion of best practices in quality and testing
  • Bring deep experience and a strong quality and automation mindset to shape the platforms that serve 1000's of engineers across the world to produce quality code
  • Advocate for shift-left approach to testing, continuous testing mindset, and be the voice of quality
  • Own the measurement and KPI metrics for testing strategies, best practices and effectiveness to IT leadership
  • Define, direct, and review the development of new testing frameworks and applications and ensure the implementation of manual and automated test solutions and quality controls
  • Partner closely with CICD platform engineering team to integrate testing automation into the CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to provide consultation, guidance along with influencing leaders of multidisciplinary teams to drive strategic business process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Experience driving strategy for Platform products in a top tech or payments company at scale
  • Significant depth in software development and devops in a fast-paced, product-driven software company, including having launched multiple products in the testing and continuous testing space
  • Experience and understanding of modern architectures, patterns, development processes and tools, and driving strategic efforts
  • Must have a track record of success in job performance and progression and the proven ability to both build credibility with senior management team and motivate teams
  • Successfully led product solutions on time and on budget
  • Proven experience working in an agile environment in a Product Portfolio role.
  • Experience in building large scale services and a deep understanding of distributed systems.
  • Passion to seek an in-depth understanding of customer needs and turn that insight into a compelling vision and strategy for the product area
  • Strong execution and ability to drive work to completion.
  • BA/BS in CS required.
