ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather, track, and analyze revenue targets and related incentive calculations for various reporting groups.
  • Compile, review and report on various royalty and rebate agreements for all product lines.
  • Assist in preparation of the consolidated monthly management reporting package together with variances to budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain general ledger account reconciliations, as assigned.
  • Answer financial and accounting questions by researching and interpreting data.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Other back-up duties may be assigned.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is a must, due to large and complex spreadsheets and files.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills - must be able to work independently.
  • Proficient in all other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Workday and Business Intelligence experience a plus.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Three to seven years of relevant practical industrial or public accounting experience required. This position requires a highly organized individual who can function without much guidance.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to write summaries that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management and make changes based on their feedback.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with divisions to obtain needed information.
  • Able to locate, dissect and re-assemble data in a timely manner.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to interact with senior management.
