Staff Accountant

Our client, the corporate office for multiple cafe and other restaurant locations, is seeking a Staff Accountant for a potential contract to full time position. In this Staff Accountant position, candidates will have exposure to the Controller and Accounting Manager, and work on a team with a great reputation in the field. The Staff Accountant will reconcile accounts, work heavily in the general ledger, and assist with month end. In addition, the Staff Accountant will track asset expenses, support the annual audit, as well as other assigned projects related to the success of the team. Candidate should come from the food services industry, or have some type of hospitality experience.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Great Plains, Management Reporter, and knowledge of CrunchTime, or similar POS system is a huge plus
• Knowledge of MS Excel (pivots, v loolups, and formulas)
• Exposure to general ledger accounting
