Beacon Hill Financial is working with a non-profit client to find a Staff Accountant to join their team. This person will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for ap/ar, working within the general ledger, and bank and credit card reconciliations. Job Description:

• Records daily cash postings and reconcile the bank and settled credit card transactions.
• Monitors accounts receivable aging including appropriate follow-up with members to ensure timely collection.
• Maintains and updates compliance schedule report and follow up with team on upcoming regarding overdue accounts.
• Prepares journal entries, analyses, and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Performs monthly reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts.
• Records adjusting and reclassification journal entries.
• Assists with preparation of the annual budget.
• Performs year-end audit reconciliations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Provides system training and onboarding of new staff.
