Position: Staff Technical Program Manager
Job Location: 10500 NE 8th Street, Bellevue, WA 98004
Duties: Own and drive complex, multi-disciplinary cross-functional and multi-product technology projects using techno-functional expertise for program delivery. Ensure planning through deep discovery, scope, and feature set of programs. Understand and articulate detailed requirements with all stakeholders and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. Responsible for managing schedules, identifying risks and dependencies, obtain cross team alignment, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders. Understand systems interdependencies and lead cross-functional teams towards technical solutions. Responsible for communicating and explaining assigned program's analysis, risks, issues, and recommendations to leadership. Explain the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Develop best practices in a changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery. Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review. Actively drive and contribute to resource planning to ensure program success and drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions. Keep goals for programs, projects, and products realistic and attainable within a given timeline. Conduct basic data analysis using tools, such as SQL and Microsoft (MS) Excel, and present the results in a graphical manner using charts and pivot tables. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or related area and 5 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or related area and 3 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
Skills required: Experience with cross-functional Project and Program Management. Experience managing multiple, technically complex initiatives and ensuring adherence to agreed scope, cost, quality, and timelines. Experience with gathering requirements, solution design, high-level architecture, and product development and testing. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using at least one of the following tools: TFS, GIT, Jenkins, or Nexus. Experience with Web, API, and database development using C#.Net, Angular JS, and Java. Experience developing SQL databases, including MSSQL, Oracle PL/SQL, SSIS, and SSRS. Experience developing NoSQL databases, including Mongo DB. Experience with quality engineering practices, including function testing, non-functional testing, manual testing, and automated testing using TFS and Coded UI. Experience working with retail payments hardware and software solutions. Experience working with analytics and data visualization tools, including PowerBI. Experience with architecture patterns, including MVC and MVVM. Experience implementing solutions using WCF, WPF, and WF. Experience modelling requirements using As-Is Analysis, To-Be Analysis, use cases, UML notations, and Decision Trees. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $137,654/year to $264,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
