What We Are Looking For

The Strategic Account Manager maintains and develops high visibility business global accounts strategically. The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The Strategic Account Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Accounts and has a support team.

What You Will Do
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume of $3 to $5 million and strategic objectives in assigned 5 to 8 accounts.
  • Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
  • Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
  • 50% Travel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM)
What You Will Bring
  • Degree: Bachelor's minimum, MBA preferably
  • Years of Sales Experience: 10+ years
  • High emotional intelligence and people skills
  • Proven ability to develop, communicate and execute account strategies
  • Proven ability to identify and develop opportunities within accounts
  • Proven ability to maintain and develop account and ecosystem relationships
  • Proven ability to effectively delegate and leverage resources
  • Develop Service Level Requirements for Clients
  • Lead matrixed teams around the globe to achieve objectives
