Endeavor Schools at Montessori Academy-Sharon Springs is seeking Summer Camp Counselors!

Position summary:

The primary objectives of the Camp Counselor are to continue establishing an inspiring learning environment throughout the school breaks, act as primary caregivers to campers, teach, coordinate, and carry out camp activities, and ensure the physical, mental, and emotional safety of campers. The Camp Counselor will report to the School Leader.

• Continue establishing an inspiring learning environment throughout the school break.
• Provide experiences and guidance that attend to students' emotional needs and emotional management skill building.
• Plan, manage, and oversee daily activities during school breaks.
• Teach, coach, mentor students in specialized learning paths, i.e., STEM.
• Provide activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving appropriate to the developmental levels of the student.
• Maintain a safe classroom environment based on safety standards set by Endeavor and state licensing.
• Adhere to Employee Handbook and Endeavor's Standard Operating Procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
