Primary Role

Are you passionate about a career in water? Are you looking for a summer trainee opportunity where you can gain hands experience and hands-on technical skills?

Join our team this summer for approximately eight (8) - twelve (12)-weeks, PAID opportunity with Missouri American Water! We have multiple openings that connect our summer temporary employees with real work experience, networking, and the opportunity to make a "splash". Under the direction of leadership, our summer employees will perform operational responsibilities and tasks.

Various Summer Opportunities will be available in the following locations in Missouri:

St. Louis, Jefferson City, Mexico, St. Charles, St. Joseph, Parkville, Joplin, Branson and Garden City

Experience/Education

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required and ability to pass a motor vehicle background check.

Work Environment

• Must be physically able to work indoor or outdoor during seasonal heat and cold or other adverse weather conditions.
• Must be physically able to complete necessary tasks while wearing approved personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to remain alert and attentive to job requirements and co-workers.
• Schedule: Days and hours will vary by location.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
