Summary

SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Analyst contributes to Cambro's success by providing for the development, implementation, and execution of the company's global supply chain from point of manufacture to point of shipment. This position will work collaboratively within the Cambro Supply Chain to provide leadership in review of tactical business processes or systems. Also, assist Director of Materials in setting future plans and strategic efforts to identify current and future projects to support the Cambro supply chain for successful service to customers globally. The Supply Chain Analyst position is managed by the Director of Materials. Work is accomplished with minimal direction. Strong competence is evidenced with the various tools, procedures, and systems at Cambro used to accomplish the job.
Essential Functions

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for owning projects and initiatives in supply chain analytics and partner with operations team to quantify parameters and build algorithms to drive continuous improvement in forecasting, logistics, and operations.
  • Compiles and analyzes business data and metrics using MS Excel and Power-Bi.
  • Develops and/or refines data collection and analysis tools to measure and manage processes of business metrics.
  • Delivers verbal and written reports of projects of managed business processes using MS PowerPoint and MS Word to document and present the work content.
  • Prepares and issues specific daily, weekly, and monthly management reports. Ensures that all reports are correct, presentable, and issued as required.
  • Monitors costs or service level agreements with internal and/or process testing.
  • Assists in the development of new business strategies.
  • Identifies and leads future strategic projects.
  • Manages medium to large projects or a more complex nature; often in concert with the Director.
  • Creates communication pieces to educate and engage co-workers in project, process, or change management efforts.
  • Leads moderately complex aspects of a project and supports managers in leading more strategic efforts.
  • Solves most problems without assistance.
  • Must be able to interact successfully with all facets of the organization.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
  • Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
  • Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
  • Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
  • Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
  • Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues to immediate manager.

Sitting, walking, standing, bending at the neck, bending at the waist, twisting at the neck and waist, repetitive use of hands, simple grasping, power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, reaching above and below the shoulder, carrying/lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in Production/Demand Planning, Purchasing, or Logistics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Effectively presents information and responds to questions from co-workers at all levels within the company.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, and logic.
  • Reasoning ability/communications, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis.
  • Strong computer application skills; proficient in Microsoft Office software programs (spreadsheet, database, work processing, presentation), and internet knowledge.
  • Ability to utilize statistical models.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus for a broad range of customers.
  • Effective interpersonal skills; ability to interact successfully with all facets of the organization.
