Qualifications

Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business preferred or related field of study from accredited university; or 6 years of lending operations
  • 4 years banking or financial service environment experience
  • 4 years customer service experience
  • 3 years commercial loan experience
  • 2 years analysis experience
  • 2 years of experience managing or leading teams in a financial, paralegal, or banking environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of loan accounting system (AFS) and DEALS preferred

Job Description

Syndications Manager
The Syndications Manager is responsible for managing a team that services the Participations portfolio, working with agent banks to service and reconcile the portfolio, inclusive of performing special servicing as required for sub-standard loans. For this portfolio, the manager oversees the execution of all servicing activities and works directly with agent banks.
Please Note: This position is eligible for a signing bonus.
Position Responsibilities:
  • The Part Bought Manager serves as a liaison with agent banks on non-agented syndicated loans and manages a team responsible for performing advances, funding, and payments as well as processing interest and fees.
  • Executes loan repricing, including movement of funds and rate changes. Reconciles fees and payments with agent banks to ensure loans are reconciled.
  • Performs commitment/loan maintenance.
  • Oversees sub-standard loan processing including non-accrual and charged off servicing, funding and payments.
  • Selects, motivates and retains high performing talent, cultivating a spirit of teamwork with shared goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for fostering a culture of process improvement and innovation.
  • Participates in technology projects related to loan servicing technology.
  • Establishes training programs for team, develops tools to monitor performance and establishes controls to manage risk.
  • Responsible for ensuring loan servicing requests are completed accurately and timely and handles escalations.
