System Administrator / Level 1 and 2 Service Desk Analyst is to support local IT operations. This person will contribute to and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices that support a consistent, world class user experience. This position is 100% hands on in the office. (Mask currently required for all employees).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interface point of contact for the site user community.
• Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services at the site, regional and worldwide level.
• Support regional cell phone operations including provisioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support a global IT infrastructure organization.
• Contribute to and deploy security policies and systems globally to protect company assets.
• Daily monitoring of the backup process to maintain backup integrity including changing tapes as required.
• Perform reviews of the Infrastructure monitoring systems throughout the day, correcting issues as they are identified.
• All activities (relating to hardware/system) for new hire onboarding.
• Complete daily SOX audit log.
• Assist with the financial aspects of the IT Department, including preparation of purchase orders, maintenance of the budget, and periodic budget reviews.
• Contribute to, support and implement enterprise IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Keep current with the latest technologies endeavoring to implement best practices.
• Support critical IT operations afterhours when needed.
• Travel as required to support other locations (<10% time).
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Four year University degree in the field of computer science or similar field REQUIRED
• Technical knowledge of server and PC operating systems.
• Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
• Understanding change management as it relates to compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
