Overview

Keller Group plc is the world's largest geotechnical solutions specialist with our North American operations consisting of 4,000 employees in 80+ offices. We are part of the leading international ground engineering firm, Keller Group, PLC based in the UK. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator to assist in supporting our offices across the US and Canada from our corporate headquarters in Houston, TX. The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work as part of a dynamic team of IT professionals.

Responsibilities

Scope of responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implement and support Cisco-based LAN/WAN including Meraki and Cisco lines of routers, ASAs, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Manage the IT components of branch office moves.
  • Deploy and use proactive system and network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds and NetFlow.
  • Oversee and perform maintenance on servers/network services including Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Ensure that performance targets and uptime goals are met and that scheduled maintenance occurs within the standard downtime window.
  • Implement and support cloud infrastructure.
  • Plan and implement IT infrastructure projects as needed.
  • Build and automate via script.
  • Collaborate with colleagues worldwide.


Qualifications

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
  • CCNA level network fundamental knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify and solve issues independently and as a team member
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and maintain complex network and service implementations
  • Excellent customer service
  • Thirst to learn and collaborate


Preferred Skills:
  • Python and Powershell
  • Infrastructure as Code/DevOps
  • Azure
  • Agile practices, especially Kanban
  • Industry related training and certifications
