As a Systems Enablement Engineer you will be working on architecture specific optimizations to system software in the infrastructure market space. You will have the opportunity to work with Arm's key industry partners to define and develop solutions that meet partner requirements and specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop system programming skills!

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to kernel, device driver, and system software development in close collaboration with industry partners, whether the codebase is open source or proprietary.
  • Spearhead the creation of performance analysis tools, utilizing them to measure the efficiency of workloads crucial to ARM and our collaborators.
  • Act as a vital bridge in system software development, harnessing ARM's core competencies to enhance our partners' software with cutting-edge innovations.
Required Skills and Experience :
  • Experience with C/C++
  • Experience with open-source software workflow, using GIT, and code review
  • Experience working on and/or making contributions to codebase for open-source software and proprietary software
  • A solid understanding of kernel, device drivers, system libraries, and system services
  • Ability to debug and fix system software code such as kernel and device drivers
"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :
  • Good understanding of ARM64 architecture
  • Experience developing unit tests, integration tests, and continuous integration testing.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ability to multitask without compromising quality of work and delivery schedules. A natural problem solver who enjoys solving technical challenges.
  • Experience with performance analysis of workloads and operating systems
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills, work independently with partners and handling uncertainty
  • Excellent business judgment and the proven track record to think and act both strategically and tactically
