Position: Talent Acquisition Consultant

Location: Waterloo, IA (or surrounding areas)

Type: Direct Hire + Salary + Commission + Benefits.

We are looking to add to our talented recruiting machine that is HotFoot Recruiters.

A qualified candidate for this role will have advanced understanding of high volume recruiting marketing awareness and very comfortable utilizing social media, for the sole purpose of recruiting qualified candidates and building sustainable networks for the recruiting team.

About You:

• Knowledge of HR best practices and have innovative ideas.
• Strong communication skills and are confident in your organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently from home and in-office.
• Manage our full recruitment cycle and ensure we always meet our client's requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
• Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and universities boards
• Source candidates by using databases and social media
• Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters
• Use recruiting tools like tests and assignments to assess candidates' skills
• Conduct phone, Skype and/or in-person interviews
• Provide a short list of qualified candidates to hiring managers
• Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
• Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
• Attend job fairs and careers events

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Above Average sourcing skills with Linkedin, Careerbuilder, Monster
etc...
• Strong ability to put together sourcing strings and applicable knowledge of Boolean Theory.
• Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
• Experience recruiting through social media.
• Hands-on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
• Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency-based and behavioral)
• Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
