POSITION SUMMARY

DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist with DeBra-Kuempel, Inc., you will work with Human Resources and Department Managers to recruit top talent for openings throughout Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Evansville, Lexington, Louisville, and the surrounding areas. This position will use a variety of recruitment tools to attract active and passive candidates for various job openings. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years hands-on recruiting experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.

  • Work closely with Human Resources and Department Managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Post job vacancies using UKG, manage applicant flow and work with hiring managers to ensure qualified candidates are hired using legally compliant methods.
  • Source and recruit high performing active/passive candidates using various recruitment tools.
  • Review applicant education, experience, training and other qualifications for position opening.
  • Review and disposition candidates using UKG ensuring the requisitions are compliantly managed.
  • Manage pipeline of direct/passive candidates for designated job requisite.
  • Provide prospective candidates with information about the Company and position opening, including but not limited to position duties, responsibilities, and work schedules.
  • Conduct initial pre-screening and schedule/coordinate interviews with Hiring Managers.
  • Provide weekly updates on recruitment activities to Hiring Managers.
  • Enter candidate/sourcing and other required information into designated company file(s) and update information as necessary.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance throughout the pre-hire and onboarding process and that all recruitment steps are in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Review salary market information for position openings and provide information to Company leadership.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Perform other duties as needed as an integral part of the Human Resources Team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • At least 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Experience recruiting passive candidates in the construction industry preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or currently pursuing preferred.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel).
