Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a Tax Accountant in Boca Raton, FL.Essential Functions:

• Timely and accurate research of federal/state income and franchise tax returns in OneSource Income Tax
• Maintain industry standard tax return workpapers supporting all positions taken
• Assist with federal, state and local estimated tax payments and extension requests
• Assist with all IRS, state and local audits as required
• Assist with all IRS, state and local correspondence requests as required
• Perform essential functions in a professional, efficient team-oriented approach
• All other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree with major in Accounting recommended; CPA a plus
• Master's degree with specialty in Tax a plus
• Minimum of three years of tax experience with a public accounting firm or mid to large-size company
• Experience in a multi-state compliance environment; Multi-national a plus
• Experience in OneSource Income Tax required
• Must be efficient, proactive and an effective time manager to handle varying deadlines and responsibilities
