RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Tax Manager in Randolph, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a CPA firm with a fantastic work/life balance. This client offers strong compensation, benefits package, bonuses, and commissions on any new acquired business you are a part of. This is a family-oriented office. The ideal candidate should be in the office 2-3 days a week, but they are open to a fully remote schedule to accommodate.Responsibilities:- Preparation of Individual, S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnership and Trust tax returns
- Preparation of year-end workpapers and proposing adjusting entries
- Tax Manager will review of tax returns and provide feedback to staff
- Tax research and communication with clients and staff
- Tax planning and projections
- Compilation and review financial statements
- Overtime (including Saturdays) is required during tax season (capped at 50 hours/week)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA (preferred)
- 5+ years recent tax experience
- Strong technical skills in preparation, review, research, and compliance
- Strong communication skills for client contact and relationship building
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
