RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking a Technical Accounting & Internal Controls Manager to join their team in Milford, MA. This client is a biotechnology company that is currently growing. They have a very collaborative team, with even the executive team getting into the mix. They offer a strong benefits and compensation package. This role will be fully remote.Responsibilities will include:

• In this role, the Technical Accounting & Internal Controls Manager will recommend accounting treatment for transactions
• Review accounting guidance and asses accounting implications
• Prepare accounting and financial reporting memos
• Participate in due diligence reviews for potential acquisitions
• The Technical Accounting & Internal Controls Manager will prepare financial schedules for purchase accounting
• Assist in implementing internal controls
• Develop financial reporting analysis and metrics
• Establish, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement projects
• As a Technical Accounting & Internal Controls Manager, this role will perform other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification
• Experience in mergers and acquisition related work
• Experience writing technical guidance memos and/or implementing internal controls
• A combination of public accounting and industry experience is ideal
• Team player
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong communication skills
