GDH Consulting is looking for a Technical Consulting Engineer to work remotely.

Lead the industry by deploying, managing and solving client and industry leading automation technologies that the entire industry is leaning towards. Lead the automation transformation journey and be a part of worlds #1 IT company. You'll get a lot of hands-on experience, the ability to earn industry-leading certifications, and access to customer experience labs with over $1.7B in assets to stay up-to-date on dynamic new technology. You'll also get continuous training and development in both technical and leadership/customer skill areas.

You'll be the "face" to our customers delivering on our promises. The role is part creative problem solver, part status quo challenger, and first responder for raised issues and urgent customer demands. You're also a customer advocate working with development engineers and sharing what's new and top of mind back to your customers.

You will be the technical consultant for complex deployments and crisis manager when needed. You're the one with the customer assist to help them identify and embrace methodologies for configuration, software lifecycle management, network health, security and automation.

Who You'll Work With

The Technical Consulting Engineers represent the company's technical capabilities and manage day-to-day technical needs of service provider customers. We support and enable customer specific solutions to grow business as well as steer customer expectations according to product and network management capabilities. We drive successful introduction in partner labs and customer live network.

We also deliver expert consulting, design and engineering support to customers for sales opportunities. Work with Sales and Professional Services to develop state-of-art customized solutions for customers worldwide. Recommend technical solutions to improve customer operations.

We provide technology consulting for internal teams (i.e. Product Management, Marketing, Sales). Convert external customer requirements into recommendations for new product features and improvement in existing products.

Who You Are

• You have 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• You achieved a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• You have experience in writing software in one or more languages, such as Python, Go, Java, C++ or similar.
• You are knowledgeable in basic networking and understand Internet Protocol communication concepts
• You must be experienced in administering Linux/Unix servers
• You possess experience configuring and maintaining hypervisors and containers.
• You are capable of data management, Visualization and optimization thinking and experience.
• You possess strong written, oral communication and listening skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• You have professional certification in networking, security, data center or cloud
• You gained experience working with NMS tools and SNMP
• You are familiar with network telemetry, key-value & JSON document stores, time-series databases, software Defined Networking, network automation and data-plane programming
• You feel comfortable working with Open Source. Both as a user and community contributor.
• You have gained familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates and key management.
• You are experienced with data science and machine learning
