Primary Responsibilities:
The Content Developer produces technical documentation as well as online microlearning content.

• Stay aligned with releases and updates to write product and technical documentation for customers and internal teams.
• Manage and maintain updates and revisions to documentation aligned with product releases and updates.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to understand the self-service knowledge and documentation needs of our customers.
• Conduct audits to ensure our Knowledge Base and help videos are accurate and up-to-date.
• Design and create in-app microlearning
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management around releases to ensure messaging and content is aligned to feature delivery.

Accountabilities:

1. Point Person: Serve as first level point person for partnering with sales leaders, product champions and marketing to identify the most critical training needs in order to provide effective education and development programs within assigned segment. Work in alignment with sales leadership to ensure programs are consistent with strategic vision, business mission and segment goals.
2. Teamwork: Partner with peers to share best practices and program content to effectively build cutting edge programs that lend to positive end results. Works collaboratively with other team members to share ideas and ensure highest quality training.
3. Analytical: Create systems for assessing needs of learners and a system for measuring each program's effectiveness. Adjusts training as needed based on feedback.
4. Project Management / Multi-tasking: Develop, organize, and coordinate resources to implement integrated on-going training programs, materials, manuals. Work on multiple programs simultaneously - both national and regional level as needed.
5. Consultative Partnering: Demonstrates ability to work as a consultative partner with business leaders, and is a relationship manager for touch-points of projects (at the business level).
6. Demonstrates project management skills and business acumen.
7. Demonstrates ability to lead, facilitate and present in person training needs as an individual facilitator or team facilitator.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher

2. Strong experience in technical, content and/or instructional writing

3. 3+ years of building product feature content for SaaS companies

4. Proven track record of designing and executing successful content programs

5. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required. Strong presentation, communication and collaboration skills to deliver effective training programs and work with all levels of employees.
6. Strong management and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a matrixed organization, to include product champions and subject matter experts.
7. Must demonstrate customer-oriented demeanor and conduct.
8. Must possess superior problem solving and systems/process analytical skills, time management skills, attention to details and dependability are necessary. This position requires the flexibility to work in a fast-paced team environment.
9. Proven ability to manage and meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
10. Knowledge of, and experience with assessment and measurement techniques.
11. Ability to travel as needed.

12. Instructional design background preferred
