As a Senior Product Manager reporting to the Product Director of Mobilitas, your primary responsibilities will involve launching our commercial auto product for fleet owners nationwide and developing the next innovative features for continuous enhancements; including risk assessment, telematics-based pricing, broker relations, and research and product development. As part of an innovative team developing insurance solutions for the sharing economy and mobility sector, you will contribute to laying the foundation for underwriting, pricing and risk control best practices in this emerging industry segment.

Essential responsibilities
Evaluate commercial auto fleet book of business. Drives profitable growth and achieves the annual business plan
Drives an ambitious product launch in 50 states and the District of Columbia by providing product requirements to IT and acquiring DOI approvals
Works closely with partners (distributors) to drive product performance in the market. This includes deep product training to field underwriters, collaborating with internal underwriters to ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, finding opportunities to increase product competitiveness through pricing and coverage within current product design
Reviews trends and takes actions to achieve loss ratio targets. Reviews and monitors all aspects of product performance including submissions volume, close ratio, retention, quality of book of business, and premium size.
Monitoring the evolution of last-mile delivery and competitive landscape, investing in broker relationships, and collaborating with them in developing innovative insurance solutions that meet the needs of new and emerging exposures.
Makes recommendation to Product colleagues on the next-generation product design using new risk data and technology that supports our brand, mission, vision and profitable growth. This includes telematics-based pricing, flexible coverage, efficient underwriting, and a seamless digital-first customer experience
Supports Product team to create a product roadmap to introduce new value propositions to customers and partners
Develops clear business requirements in collaboration with Actuarial, Forms, Claims, Legal, Marketing. Collaborates with IT for a successful implementation
What would make us excited about you
BA/BS Degree
15+ years of related commercial auto fleet management experience in a national commercial carrier
Product management and/or underwriting experience with a managing general agency/underwriter
Comprehensive background with telematics-based insurance products
All-encompassing knowledge of commercial lines products and contract knowledge including regulatory and policy differences among applicable states
Deep knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle, competitors, insurance product pricing, financial drivers of profitability, insurance regulations and DOI filing regulations, general insurance operations and business processes
Ability to synthesize analytical data to guide business decisions
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence
Excited to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills focusing on "How"
Strategic thinker and hands-on contributor. Demonstrated knowledge of all products, end-to-end, with passion for achieving success
Proactive and self-starter who will search for opportunities and problems and then address them. Flexibility and capacity to balance multiple demands
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Inland Marine, General Liability and Workers Compensation line of business
MBA
CPCU certification
Actuarial Designation

In compliance of Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a salary range of $122,995-$144,700 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 15% of eligible pay.
