Tittle - Sanitization Technician

Duration -12 Months

Location- Largo, FL

Pay Range*: $18- $18.25 per hour.

As a(n) Sanitization Technician you will:

Job Description:

• Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP's, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
  • Maintains a mindset that all accidents can be prevented and works pro-actively to achieve zero harm in the workplace.
  • Follows defined Quality Management Systems, all applicable procedures, reviews maintenance records, and completes all documentation as required.
  • Maintains a continuous flow of the servicing line and works independently and as a part of a team to achieve process yield results.
  • Receives and unpackages all incoming medical devices and follows procedures to assess proper disposition of medical equipment.
  • Uses cleaning devices and/or chemical agents to sanitize devices, production equipment or the immediate work environment.
  • Operates and monitors UV cleaning equipment and escalates issues as needed.
  • Prepares cleaning and sanitizing solutions, as per standard operating procedures.
  • May rotate into the assembly, repair, packaging, and test areas as needed.
  • May train employees on an as needed basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proficient computer skills required to enter data, navigate, and routinely toggle between various application systems.
• Must be able to wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas as required including safety glasses at all times.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent walking, stooping, reaching, grasping and using gross motor manipulation.
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a routine basis.
• Previous electrical mechanical assembly repair OR testing experience is preferred, but not required
• High School diploma or GED required

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
