This is a hybrid position primarily based in the Shelton, Connecticut office location. We have a unique opportunity for someone to contribute their talents and strengths as a User Education Specialist within the Computershare Governance services' business (CGS). CGS is a growing business unit, which provides governance and company secretarial services to our clients.

A fantastic opportunity to join a growing business unit within Computershare and support our clients on the implementation of our offered software products. This is a client facing position, which is perfect for someone who has a passion for technology and an interest in client education.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Global User Education Manager, the User Education Specialist (UES) will be responsible for:

  • Provide training, both remotely and onsite, to CGS' client base across the US region.
  • Manage and maintain documentation, release notes and videos for CGS' global suite of applications.
  • Have an active role in internally publicizing new developments and features throughout the business and supporting training and knowledge-share initiatives.
  • Production of high-quality videos, tutorials, and guides for internal and client distribution.
  • Innovation in alternative content delivery methods and ways to improve our client on-boarding methods using modern delivery techniques
  • Writing and publishing release notes for all CGS' applications, based on product development timetables
  • Champion the GEMS Certification Program within USA, and ensuring regional differences are considered
  • Develop an effective relationship network with clients and service providers, as well as with colleagues worldwide
  • Constantly look to improve the efficiency of internal processes and improve the quality of reporting on key metrics

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This position will require up to 30% travel based on business needs.

Required:
  • Ability to learn new software's, and an interest in technology.
  • Outstanding planning and scheduling skills.
  • A solid and confident communicator, comfortable delivering with equal competence to new students, seasoned professionals, and boards of directors.
  • The ability to learn new processes and concepts quickly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Well-presented and polished demeanour.
  • University degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
