SUMMARY

As organizations around the world leverage emerging technology to solve problems and stay competitive, data analytics are helping to make more informed decisions that are driving process changes. This has increased the demand for experts skilled in harnessing the power of data, yet there is a huge deficiency of skilled data analytics professionals.

Alteryx's SparkED program empowers learners of all levels, across all fields of study, to develop the analytics skills they need to question, understand, and solve with data. By providing educators, students, and career changers with free software licenses, teaching tools, learning resources, and in-demand Alteryx Analytics certifications, we are helping to close the ever-growing data analytics skills gap.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Reporting to Alteryx's SVP, SparkED Education Program, this role will be responsible for defining, recruiting and scaling the SparkED Partner Program

• Identify and establish academic partnerships to deliver virtual learning of data analytics globally. These partnerships will be leaders in reaching learners, students and career changers who see data analytics as a required career skill in virtual and/or classroom environments

• This leader will be responsible for curriculum design, development and implementation across learner personas

• Strategically evaluate available technology for content creation, learner progression, and product and services deployment

• Partner with Alteryx customers from Global 2000 companies and the educational institutions they support to build the talent pipeline to hire data analytic undergraduate and graduate level programs to deliver impact on Day 1 of new careers. This cross functional effort with our Global Sales team will support Alteryx customers on their Data Analytics journey

• Expand the program metrics for which success is measured for SparkED as a global program with quarterly reports to the Executive Leadership

• Work closely with external audiences such as customers, education institutions and technology partners to evolve and ensure market relevancy of SparkED partnership and curriculum programs, while also championing the SparkED mission

• Lead a high performing global team - including curriculum developers, program managers, and partner managers. This leader will drive creation of critical components to serve the SparkED global program, with the goal of inspiring learners at all levels to become tomorrow's data analytics experts and developing 1,000,000 learners by 2023

• Serve as an inspiring leader and operator to the team by articulating a clear vision and strategy, and providing team with the guidance and resources for success; this leader will be responsible for identifying capabilities and talent needs across her/his organization, while providing growth and development opportunities

• Establish trusted relationships with key corporate teams, including product

development, product management, marketing, human resources, and finance

• Demonstrate a growth mindset with proven results in large scale, high growth, multiproduct companies.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

• Experience building and scaling a global education program for a leading software company

• Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing team

• Established relationships with academic institutions and industry partners around the world

• Strong leader and communicator with metrics as the foundation to measure success for SparkED

• Boundless energy, growth mindset, nimble and adaptable

• Ability to quickly understand the broad application of data analytics; experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence is a plus

• Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions

• Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred
