Job Description Summary

Participate in a paid internship program built around your career goals and hands-on projects that impact the organization. As part of the Lamb Weston University Recruiting Internship Program, Interns work towards completing a Capstone project and are assigned a mentor who will guide and evaluate performance.

Whether you are interested in Agricultural Science, Data Science, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Manufacturing, Food Science, Marketing, or Engineering, our highly selective summer intern program has projects that will help you build the next stage in your career.

Job Description

As the Web Developer Intern you will work alongside the business and IT teams to identify and recommend solutions to streamline and align technology to the Lamb Weston Sales and Marketing processes. The ideal candidate is interested in finding innovative ways of working to enhance how our teams engage with the customer.

• Creating and maintaining front end web stack
  
• Ensuring that all website content is up to date and accurate
  
• Identifying and repairing any errors or bugs in the website code
  
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  
• Working closely with senior developers and other members of the team to ensure smooth collaboration
  
• Adhering to all company coding standards and best practices
  
• Turning audio, video, textual, and graphic elements into web-friendly forms
  
• May perform additional projects upon request
  
• Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people and organizations to act
  
• Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner
  

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Must be a current Junior, Senior, or Master's student enrolled in a related program: Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
  
• Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred
  
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required
  
• Working knowledge of coding languages like JQuery, JSON, HTML, CSS (Adobe AEM or Salesforce Communities experience a bonus).
  
• A basic understanding of website development fundamentals is required.
  
• Ability to problem-solve with limited guidance
  
• Continuous improvement mindset and methodology
  
• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
  
• Strong organizational skills
  
• Strong computer competency with experience with MS suite of products desirable

A reasonable hourly estimate for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $22.00
