Job Details:

Mechanic Maint. - 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6am - 12:30pm)

Position Description:

This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Must have knowledge to repair trucks, rebuild transmissions, rear ends, and motors.

- Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, pushing, stooping, squatting, and reaching are required in all areas.

- Lifting 40+ pounds are required in many areas.

- Must be able to tolerate climates ranging from very cold to very hot and very dusty.

- Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders.

- Must have previous General Maintenance Experience, or Equivalent School Training.

Accepting Rehires: Yes

3 Time Rule: If you have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times you are ineligible for rehire.

Rehire Waiting Period: 90 Days
